Middlesbrough were applying good early pressure from the start and that was rewarded.
Premier Section Match Report – Co. Tyrone 2 – 2 Vendee
After a slow start to the game in terms of goals and chances, it was Vendee who broke the deadlock after 20 minutes. A punt upfield was only half dealt with by the Tyrone defence, allowing Massimo Baron to rush in & volley the ball into the corner of the net, out of the reach of goalkeeper Joel Peden.
Junior Section Match Report – Partick Thistle 1 – 3 Co. Down
County Down took on Partick Thistle at Anderson Park in Coleraine and it was the local side who started the better as Jake Corbett played in Callum Ferris before his shot sailed just wide of the target.

Plymouth Argyle ran out comprehensive 10-1 winners over Alset Columbia in a one sided affair in the Junior Section at Clough on Monday afternoon.
Premier Section Match Report – Osasco FC 0 – 3 Hibernian
It didnt take long for this game to come alive. With just six minutes on the clock, a heavy touch in the Osasco defence allowed Hibs to open the scoring with a shot into the bottom corner. Soon after, Hibs challenged the referees decision, when he opted not to award them a free kick inside the box, after defender Cleyson Aroujo appeared to have passed the ball back to keeper Cucato Lopez. All in all, it was a quiet first half but two minutes before the break, Joao Pedro was shown yellow for a reckless tackle on the Hibs full back. On a wet afternoon it was hard for either side to get going.

The Fermanagh Junior Squad didn’t get the start they had hoped for at Super Cup NI 2016, as the American side Strikers FC South Coast started their campaign with a 2-nil victory at Parker Avenue, Portrush.

County Tyrone took on MS Select from New Zealand at Rugby Avenue in Coleraine , and it was the local side who started the better as Adam Young got down the right on two minutes. His cross picked out Finn Grimes but he lashed his strike wide of the target .

Right to Dream of Ghana started their defence of the Junior Section title with a 4-0 win over American side GPS at the Coleraine Showgrounds.

The heavy rain provided a backdrop of slippery conditions for the two sides in the Warren, Portstewart, this afternoon.

Co. Antrim started off their campaign in the Junior Section with a well deserved 1-0 victory against North Dublin SL (NDSL). The only goal of the game came midway through the second half and it was well taken effort from Connor Farrelly.

African side aim to Dream again!

Right to Dream convincingly defeated Southampton on their way to the title, and whilst their Premier side couldn’t achieve the same glories they did impress fans with their skills and quality.
