SuperCupNI calling all budding Sports Journalists!

We’re looking for keen journalists to help expand our coverage of this year’s Super Cup NI!

Our team of volunteers help to bring reports of all the action from the tournament around the globe, to an audience that grows year-on-year. We are currently looking for new members of the team for the following roles;

Match Reporter

With 100+ matches being played across a number of venues, we need a strong team of match reporters able to attend fixtures, write up match reports and get these across to our editing team to publish them online. You’ll need strong writing skills and plenty of enthusiasm for watching football!

As part of the media team, you’ll get access to grounds and will be allocated fixtures to cover throughout the week.

3) Availability for the week of the tournament (i.e. Mon-Friday, afternoon/evenings)

6) Access to transport (yes/no)
7) An extract of your written work if at all possible

 

Sub-Editor/Match Reporter


Throughout the week of the tournament we see match reports, media and images coming in from around the grounds, which need to be sense-checked, edited where necessary then uploaded to our official website and shared across various social media platforms.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who in addition to getting out and about to report on matches are also willing to spend part of their time based in our Tournament Headquarters as a sub-editor. You’ll need excellent writing skills, an in-built spelling and grammar checker, I.T. skills and a passion for football.
