In 1982 in a quiet lounge upstairs in a bar in the heart of Coleraine, one of the world’s most famous youth football tournaments was born. Read the story of how it all began.

All those involved with SuperCupNI (formerly the Northern Ireland Milk Cup) are saddened to learn of the death of our dear friend Ryozo Enomoto in Japan.
The 2022 STATSports SuperCupNI was back with a bang this summer as teams from across the world descended upon three council areas for what was the first fully operational tournament since 2019.
Ipswich Town triumphed in the STATSports Super Cup NI Premier final against County Antrim in a high scoring tournament finale.
“We played in the Milk Cup in 1996 and won it that year. I can remember the likes of Nicky Hunt, Nerada Barnard, Ledley King, we were with a few lads from the year above and when we were out there we were told that we were being taken on. I absolutely loved it.”
