New official website and app brings one of the world’s leading youth football tournament closer than ever to players, supporters and fans across the globe.

The Budget Energy SuperCupNI has unveiled the biggest digital transformation in its 43-year history with the launch of a brand-new official website and mobile app ahead of the 2026 tournament.

Designed as the tournament’s new digital home, the website and app bring together fixtures, results, league tables, team profiles, live streaming, ticketing, venue information and news in one seamless experience.

Whether it’s players checking their next fixture, coaches planning the day ahead, parents following results, scouts tracking emerging talent or supporters watching from anywhere in the world, the platforms have been built around the people who use them.

The official website serves as the tournament’s year-round hub, while the app delivers a fast, intuitive mobile experience throughout tournament week, ensuring supporters are never more than a tap away from the latest action.

Developed in partnership with Holywood-based creative marketing agency Astutely, the project has been supported through funding from the National Lottery Dormant Assets for All Fund.

The launch represents the most significant investment in the tournament’s digital infrastructure since the competition was founded in 1983.

Now entering its 43rd edition, the Budget Energy SuperCupNI will welcome more than 1,200 players representing 64 Boys’ and Girls’ teams from across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East between Sunday 26th and Friday 31st July.

Elite academies including Manchester United, Liverpool, Rangers, Celtic, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, Sunderland, Leeds United and West Ham United will compete alongside leading County representative teams and international opposition from around the world.

More than 150 fixtures will be played across Causeway Coast and Glens, Antrim and Newtownabbey, and Mid and East Antrim, with every match streamed live worldwide through the tournament’s official broadcast partner, 247.tv.

Sam Gamble, Tournament Co-ordinator of the Budget Energy SuperCupNI, said:

“The Budget Energy SuperCupNI has continued to evolve for more than 40 years, and this is the biggest digital investment we’ve ever made in the tournament.

“Every summer we welcome thousands of players, coaches, officials, families and supporters to Northern Ireland, while many more follow the tournament from across the world. We wanted to make it easier than ever for everyone to stay connected, whether they’re standing beside a pitch or following the action from thousands of miles away.

For the first time, everything people need to follow the tournament is available in one place. Fixtures, results, league tables, ticketing, news and venue information are all at their fingertips, giving people a completely new way to experience the tournament.

“I’d like to thank everyone at Astutely for the outstanding work they’ve done. They quickly understood what we wanted to achieve and have delivered platforms that will serve the tournament, our teams and our supporters for many years to come.”

The Budget Energy SuperCupNI partnered with Astutely to lead the strategy, user experience, creative direction, design and technical development of both the official website and mobile app.

Working alongside tournament organisers, the agency created both platforms around the needs of players, parents, coaches, officials, media and supporters, making information quicker and easier to access before, during and after tournament week.

Robert Annett, Managing Director of Astutely, said:

“The Budget Energy SuperCupNI is a tournament with an outstanding reputation, so our focus was always on creating digital platforms that genuinely improve the experience for everyone involved.

“Before we designed anything, we spent time understanding how players, parents, coaches, scouts, media and supporters experience tournament week and where we could make things simpler. The answer was bringing everything they need into one place in a way that’s fast, intuitive and easy to use.

“The new website and app make information instantly accessible, whether you’re checking fixtures, following results, planning your day, watching live streaming or keeping up with the latest standings. They have been designed to support everyone connected with the tournament, whether they’re at a venue in Northern Ireland or following the action from elsewhere in the world.

“Everyone at Astutely has taken great pride in this project. We’ve worked closely with Sam and the tournament team to deliver digital platforms that match the ambition of the Budget Energy SuperCupNI today while giving the tournament the flexibility to continue evolving in the years ahead.”

The 2026 Budget Energy SuperCupNI takes place from Sunday 26th to Friday 31st July, with the Girls’ Cup Finals being staged at Dixon Park, Ballyclare on Thursday 30th July before the Boys’ Minor, Junior and Premier Cup Finals return to The Coleraine Showgrounds on Friday 31st July.
