Rules / Qualification

Girls Premier is an 8-team tournament, eligible teams may be either club teams or teams representing more than one club.

Each team will play 3 group games from Monday to Wednesday.
Win: 3 Points
Draw: 1 Point

Based on group stage performance, teams will qualify for the final of one the of the following on Friday 26th July:

SCNI Cup: Group A 1st vs Group B 1st
SCNI Globe: Group A 2nd vs Group B 2nd
SCNI Vase: Group A 3rd vs Group B 3rd
SCNI Bowl: Group A 4th vs Group B 4th

Otago Academy took on Spanish giants Real Sociedad in the evening’s match at Scroggy Road. The Spaniards started the game brightly partly inspired by their bright orange kit as they rattled the woodwork with three minutes gone when Juan Garces rose highest to head goal wards . Otago were confident of causing yet another Milk Cup surprise after their victory over Alset Columbia on match day one.
