It was a lovely bright afternoon in Portstewart for the game between Glasgow Rangers and MS Select in the Junior Section of the Super Cup NI.

Junior Section: Co. Down 1-1 Southampton
It took fifteen minutes before either side had a real effort in goal. It came in the form of a well stuck 25 yard free kick from Sean Brennan but Co.Down keeper Smith got down brilliantly to push to away to safety.

The Irish lads performed a show-stopper today in Parker Avenue.
Junior Section: Co. Tyrone 3-2 Alset Columbia
Castlerock hosted its opening Supercup NI match on Wednesday afternoon when County Tyrone took on the South American side Alset Columbia.
Junior Section: Strikers 0-0 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough and Strikers played out an entertaining goalless draw at Anderson Park in the Junior section of this year’s competition. Middlesbrough will be the more disappointed of the two sides after dominating the game, especially after Strikers were reduced to 10 men in the second half.
Junior Section: Club NI 2-1 Co. Donegal
Club NI earned a hard fought 2-1 win over County Donegal in the Junior Section as the sun shone in Clough on Wednesday afternoon.
Junior Section: Co. Antrim 3-1 GPS
A large crowd gathered at the Warren in Portstewart as the local county took on American side FC Bayern.

Both teams had suffered defeat in their opening game, but with Alset having shipped 10 goals in their opening match, it was intriguing to see how they would recover.
