Six Team Tournament.

Rules / Qualification

Girls Junior is a 6-team tournament, eligible teams may be either club teams or teams representing more than one club.

Each team will play 3 games from Monday to Wednesday.
Win: 3 Points
Draw: 1 Point

Based on group stage performance, teams will qualify for the final of one of the following on Friday 26th July:

SCNI Cup: 1st vs 2nd
SCNI Globe: 3rd vs 4th
SCNI Vase: 5th vs 6th

Junior Section: First Choice Soccer 0-1 Southampton

Southampton initially started the brighter of the two sides, with Tobi Ademiju cutting inside before firing an effort that was well help by Nikola Curcija in the First Choice goal. Vincente Besujien was lively for the young Saints, also having a shot from distance, which was expertly tipped onto the top of the crossbar by Curcija.

Junior Section: Strikers 0-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough and Strikers played out an entertaining goalless draw at Anderson Park in the Junior section of this year’s competition. Middlesbrough will be the more disappointed of the two sides after dominating the game, especially after Strikers were reduced to 10 men in the second half.
