SuperCupNI have announced a partnership that will see leading retailer, Tesco as the official hydration partner of the international youth tournament which marks its 40th anniversary this year.
The ongoing partnership with Tesco, allows their own label bottled water to keep 1400 young footballers and match officials hydrated for the entire week of SuperCupNI.
Clubs playing in the tournament this year include four elite teams Manchester United, Liverpool, Valencia and Hertha Berlin as well as top teams from Mexico, Japan, the US, Bermuda, England, Scotland, Republic of Ireland and Irish League academy sides as well as six County select teams.
Victor Leonard, Chairperson of SuperCupNI said, “One of the most important aspects of football today, is the rehydrating of the players, so we are delighted to continue this excellent partnership with Tesco and are very grateful for the water that they are providing for all the players and match officials at each of the 150 games being played at this year’s tournament.”
The 2023 tournament kicks off on Sunday 23rd July with the welcoming ceremony in Coleraine and concludes with finals day on Friday 28th July.
