Lusaka could and should have took the lead in the tenth minute when winger Chiwala Lunkoto crossed from the left to put it on a plate for Joseph Ndawa but the striker headed wide from close range.

The African side went close again and were only denied by an excellent goal -line clearance by Camilo Hernandez when Gideon Miyanda fired his shot across goal.

Lusaka went close again on the brink of half time, through another Miyanda header but the direction of his header didn’t match the leap and another chance went begging.

Alset of Columbia were finally undone after good running from Mwamba down the right before pulling the ball across for Richard Thore to fire home.

Soon after Lusaka doubled their advantage when Ndawa capitalised on a defensive mistake to poke home from close range. Lusaka were able to score two more before the final whistle, sealing a comfortable victory.
