Co. Antrim juniors went down to a 4-0 defeat to the outstanding Right To Dream in today’s 5:00pm kick off at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

Right To Dream opened the scoring after 12 minutes when Kamal Deen had time and space to drill a low, hard strike into the bottom left corner. Antrim goalkeeper Conor Hitchen got a hand to it but the power and pace beat him.

On 17 minutes Ofori showed his class again, weaving in and out of multiple Antrim defenders with snake hips before curling a left footed shot into the far corner from the edge of the box, a goal that was surely one of the best we’ll see at this year’s tournament.

Right To Dream almost increased their advantage to 3 goals before half time but Mohammed Diomande’s free kick was well pushed away by Hitchen in the Antrim goal.

Antrim responded well after the break and it took a fantastic save from Arba Aziz to tip over Connor Farrelly’s goalbound strike from 25 yards.

Right To Dream’s Kamal Deen was giving out a masterclass and clinched his hatrick with 20 minutes remaining, turning a defender in the box before firing home a left-footed thunderbolt.

Substitute Eric Oteng added a fourth for Right To Dream when he followed up on Emmanuel Bam’s well saved effort, slotting the ball coolly into the bottom right corner.

Antrim battled hard and didn’t let their heads drop when going behind but it’s fair to say they were beaten by a quality side.
