County Armagh took on Ghanaian side Right to Dream in the Dale Farm Vase Final at Roe Mill.

It was the Ghanaians who had the first chance of the game, when County Armagh failed to clear their lines – the ball falling perfectly to Kelvin Boateng he cracked his shot off the crossbar. A let off for the County side .

County Armagh however failed to learn from this and two minutes later they were punished as Enogh Adu ran through to finish cooly past County Armagh keeper Conor Larkin .

However County Armagh were on level terms five minutes later when Eoin Toals header was in the net as he  rose highest to head home from a beautifully whipped-in corner .

Right to Dream started to up the tempo, the chances all coming down the right as Adama Fofana beat Reese Mclnerney to cross for Kusi Godwin, but his strike skidded just wide of goal .

It was all Right to Dream pressure and they would have went ahead only to be denied by a superb save from Larkin after Boatengs powerful drive .

County Armagh just couldn’t get settled as Right to Dream were just causing havoc with wave after wave of attacks. County Armagh saw yet another chance flash wide of their goal as Adu fired in a low cross for Fofana, and he slid the ball just wide of Larkins goal .

Halftime
Right to Dream 1-1 County Armagh

County Armagh started the second half more settled, containing their opponents but Right to Dream nearly took the lead as Larkin made a wonder stop from Godwins long range drive.

The County side fell behind once again as the Ghanaian side hit them on the counter attack. Godwin skipped a challenge to cross for Tiemoko Fofana to smash into the net through the legs of Larkin .

Country Armagh seemed tired as the rain swept around Roe Mill, and Right to Dream had the game out of sight when Frank Arhin hit a free-kick low which skipped up off the wet surface through the hands of Larkin.

County Armagh’s heads  dropped as Right to Dream scoring their fourth – a miscommunication in defence allowed Kelvin Boateng to charge through one on one to smash into the net, leaving Larkin with no chance.

Four then became five as Clinton Antiwi ran through into the box for the goal of the game. Beautiful link up play from Fofana and and Godwin sent him through and he placed the ball into the bottom right hand corner .

County Armagh were dead on their feet as Right to Dream added their sixth and final goal through Kelvin Boateng once again. Boateng latched on to Adu’s cross at the back post to complete a comprehensive victory.

Right to Dream were crowned Vase Champions in the Premier section as the curtain closed on the Milk Cup in Limavady . What a week of football, the staff at Roe Mill were absolutely fantastic and I would like to thank them for their hospitality this week .
